MLBMajor League Baseball (MLB) is the premier baseball league in the United States and Canada, composed of 30 teams divided into the American League and National League. Established in 1903, MLB is the oldest of the four major professional sports leagues in North America. Over the course of each season, each team plays a total of 162 games, between April and October.

In 2020, the Los Angeles Dodgers won their first World Series in 32 years, while the Boston Red Sox became the first team to win consecutive seasons since 2000.
