College GymnasticsCollege Gymnastics is a popular sport amongst institutions of higher education in the United States. At the individual level, gymnastics athletes compete in four events- Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, and Floor Exercise. Famous teams include the UCLA Bruin, Alabama Crimson Tide, Florida Gators, Oklahoma Sooners, and Michigan Wolverines. These Big Name collegiate gymnastics teams boast some of the best gymnasts in the country. Notable alumni from Big Name programs include Olympic Champions Nadia Comaneci, Bart Conner, Kira Kazantsev, and Madison Kocian. College gymnastics is the pinnacle of collegiate sports.
