RuPaul's Drag Race, hosted and created by RuPaul Charles, is a reality competition series that spotlights the art of drag. Each season, a new cast of aspiring drag queens competes in a variety of challenges designed to test their charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent. Contestants craft elaborate looks, perform in acting and comedy skits, and showcase their musical abilities, all while navigating the pressures of the competition. The series has won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Competition Program five times.

The queens work in the iconic 'Werk Room' to prepare their runway presentations and challenge performances before facing RuPaul and a panel of judges on the 'Main Stage.' Eliminations are decided by a 'Lip Sync for Your Life' showdown, with RuPaul eliminating the loser of the battle. Beyond the glamour, the show explores themes of self-expression, resilience, and the strength of chosen family within the LGBTQ+ community. Premiering in 2009, it celebrates drag as a transformative art form and a powerful platform for individual journeys.

"RuPaul's Drag Race" is a reality show in which a group of talented drag queens compete in challenges to impress host RuPaul, the world's most famous drag queen, to win a cash prize along with a crown and the title of America's Next Drag Superstar. Each episode consists of a main challenge, usually some form of performance or fashion design -- sometimes both. The queens then participate in a themed runway show, where one is declared the winner of that week, while two others are announced to be up for elimination. The bottom two must then compete to stay on the show with a lip-sync for their lives.
