Suzanne's two kids would rather hang out with friends or play computer games than connect with Nick, whose own mother isn't thrilled with his marriage or her new role as grandma. Meanwhile, Suzanne's brother Terrence is very protective of his only sister, and he uses every opportunity to remind Nick that he'd better be good to her.
