From hunting turkey in Florida and elk in Kentucky, to grizzlies in British Columbia and antelope in New Mexico, avid outdoorsman, author and TV personality Steven Rinella pursues a wide variety of prey during thrill-ride, challenging adventures. Then, holding true to his "field to plate" philosophy -- nothing he kills on "MeatEater" goes to waste -- Rinella displays his culinary prowess by preparing the day's harvest for a mouthwatering meal.
Our Way of Life
Alaska Native, Kootink, Heather Douville, documents her tribe's cultural and hunting practices and knowledge with the goal to teach and instill these values in future generations through specialty pursuits only available to a member of the Tlingit Nation. Heather has inherited the mean-ing of being a steward to the land: respecting what one takes from the land, giving back to the land, using as much as possible and sharing with fellow tribe members. These core values define how Heather moves within her landscape of Tlingit Aani, or what is now called Southeast Alaska. This series will encapsulate the essence of celebrating the land, air and water. It will share the story of their hunting and pursuit history lost while bringing it back alive and to the forefront.
Driven With Pat & Nicole
Hunting has been a driving force in the lives of Pat Reeve and Nicole Jones since childhood. One could even go so far as to say Pat and Nicole were meant for each other. Now a couple and with kids of their own, the Reeves came together not only on a personal level but also professionally, building a hunting empire around their "Driven" TV program. Episodes are filmed across the U.S. and around the world, showing them on the hunt for all types of prey, the most prominent being white-tailed deer. Pat, by the way, got his big break in the TV industry in 2004 when he was hired to produce and co-host "North American Whitetail TV," which remains a popular choice for hunting-show enthusiasts.
