First-person accounts of how these disasters prove that even in the worst conditions, bravery and ingenuity shine and how people's compassion for one another comes out in the most amazing ways. Each episode features two stories of amazing individuals and their ability to provide help during the worst of times while nature's most violent storms provide the most challenging situations.

"Hurricane 360" features accounts of hurricane survivors who describe how simple twists of fate and split-second decisions helped them to make it through the storms. Episodes tell of rescue missions during 2005's Hurricane Katrina and the impact of Superstorm Sandy as it hit low-lying, densely populated metropolitan areas in the northeastern U.S. in October 2012.
