Prosecutors had former Lieutenant Chris Shaw walked the jury through on how Gary was fatally shot in his own home and the his remains covered up in a burn pile outside.

Crime scene investigators who testified earlier recalled that the burn pile where Gary Farris' remains were found were so hot and burning they called the fire department to come out. Jurors then listened to testimony from a close neighbor to the Farris family. Just days before Gary's remains were found he went missing. His family began searching the property and the neighborhood for him.
