The day before Corey Micciolo died his mother rushed him to an emergency appointment with his pediatrician. On the stand was Corey's doctor who evaluated him and noted a number of bruises he sustained. Dr. Nancy Deacon got emotional when recalling the conversation she had with Corey about the bruises on his body. She kept asking him how he got them, but Corey wouldn't answer.
