In a drunken stupor, former 1980s pop star Paul Kerr (Craig Ferguson) crashes his motorcycle and wakes up in a psychiatric ward. There, he meets his onetime lover Rebecca (Jemma Redgrave) -- who tells him that he is the father of her teenage daughter, Olivia (Charlotte Church). While kicking his alcohol habit, Paul bonds with Olivia and discovers her beautiful singing voice.
