Food expert Damaris Phillips and auto racing analyst Rutledge Wood are both Southerners who share a passion for the food and people in the South. In this series, they head out on a road trip throughout the region to visit some of their favorite down-home food spots. The friends explore the memorable dishes and eateries that transport them back to their childhoods. Their travels take Phillips and Wood to Charleston, S.C., Oxford, Miss., and Phillips' hometown of Louisville, where they sample Southern staples fused with Asian flavors.
