"American Restoration" is all about keeping America's past alive by restoring pieces of Americana that have seen better days. Whether it's a classic car, a vintage gas pump or an antique toy, a lot of elbow grease and a little TLC can go a long way in bringing these things back to how they looked when they were new. The first several seasons featured the work of Rick Dale's crew at Las Vegas-based Rick's Restorations, but now the show has diversified and highlights crews that work on restoring old items at several shops around the country, some of which have client lists that include some of the best-known celebrities and businesses in America.
S1, EP1 "Hopalong Rick"
Rick attempts to restore a 1960s three-wheeled Marketeer Golf Cart for the Pawn Stars; a customer drops off an extremely rare Hopalong Cassidy bicycle from the 1950s.

Bodie restores a 1967 Ford Eleanor Mustang; Dale has his hands full trying to get a rare 1936 Crocker motorcycle to run; Steve restores a 1924 Isotta Fraschini Type 8A for a longtime friend.

Steve works turning a rusted-out 1956 Willys truck into a BBQ kitchen-on-wheels; Bodie and his son transform a mini-Divco milk truck kiddie car from the 1960s into a souped-up go-kart.
