I Love Lucy
Lucy Ricardo is the wacky wife of Cuban bandleader Ricky Ricardo. Living in New York, Ricky tries to succeed in show business while Lucy -- always trying to help -- usually manages to get in some kind of trouble that drives Ricky crazy. Their best friends are Fred and Ethel Mertz, who are also their landlords. Usually, Ethel becomes Lucy's less-than-willing partner in crime. Ricky and Lucy welcomed little Ricky in 1953, whose birth was a national TV event. Later in the show's run, the Ricardos (and the Mertzes) moved to Hollywood, where Ricky tried to become a movie star.
S1, EP26 "The Marriage License"
Lucy finds a mistake on her marriage license and goes to City Hall to fix it. Fred has a friend at the license bureau, so Ricky has them jokingly revoke the license. Lucy insists that she and Ricky recreate their wedding exactly as it happened.
S1, EP27 "Kleptomaniac"
When Ricky sees Lucy sneaking silver items into their closet, he thinks she's a kleptomaniac. Fred and Ricky question her when they see her hide a cuckoo clock under her coat.
S1, EP28 "Cuban Pals"
Lucy is jealous of one of Ricky's female Cuban friends, a woman named Renita. Lucy and Ethel dress as cleaning women to spy on Renita and Ricky at rehearsal. Lucy is appalled, and arranges for Fred to take Renita to the show by way of Philadelphia.
S1, EP29 "The Freezer"
Lucy and Ethel decide to make some extra money by buying a used, walk-in freezer. When they unwittingly buy 700 pounds of beef, they try to sell it to customers at the butcher shop. Lucy later finds herself locked in the freezer.
S5, EP20 "Lucy Gets a Paris Gown"
Lucy wants to attend a Paris fashion show, but Ricky is hesitant to let her go.
S5, EP15 "Lucy Meets the Queen"
Lucy and Ethel go looking for the queen on their first day in London but don't have any luck; when they arrive back at the hotel, Ricky lets Lucy dance the lead in a circus number so that she may be presented to the queen.
S5, EP14 "Second Honeymoon"
Lucy anticipates a second honeymoon on her trip to Europe, but Ricky is too busy.
S5, EP13 "Bon Voyage"
Lucy is left on the dock when the Ricardos and Mertzes sail for Europe.
