I Love Lucy
Lucy Ricardo is the wacky wife of Cuban bandleader Ricky Ricardo. Living in New York, Ricky tries to succeed in show business while Lucy -- always trying to help -- usually manages to get in some kind of trouble that drives Ricky crazy. Their best friends are Fred and Ethel Mertz, who are also their landlords. Usually, Ethel becomes Lucy's less-than-willing partner in crime. Ricky and Lucy welcomed little Ricky in 1953, whose birth was a national TV event. Later in the show's run, the Ricardos (and the Mertzes) moved to Hollywood, where Ricky tried to become a movie star.
S1, EP22 "Fred and Ethel Fight"
Lucy tries to re-unite Fred and Ethel after their fight, by inviting them both to dinner, without telling each of them that the other is invited. As they make up over dinner, Lucy and Ricky argue and Lucy pretends that she was run over by a bus.
S1, EP23 "The Mustache"
Ricky won't shave off his mustache for Lucy so she glues on a beard in retaliation, using liquid cement by mistake. When a movie producer visits and enjoys Lucy's veiled Arabian dance, she is stuck when he asks to see her face.
S5, EP12 "Staten Island Ferry"
Fred's fear of seasickness threatens the Ricardos and Mertzes' trip to Europe.
S5, EP13 "Bon Voyage"
Lucy is left on the dock when the Ricardos and Mertzes sail for Europe.
S1, EP21 "New Neighbors"
In order for Lucy to hide from Ricky that she is snooping in the new neighbors' apartment, she hides in their closet where she hears them planning to blow up the capital, not knowing that they're rehearsing a play.
S1, EP20 "Young Fans"
Young Peggy Dawson and teenager Arthur Morton (Richard Crenna) fall madly in love, unfortunately, with Ricky and Lucy. To discourage the young kids, the Ricardos age themselves to such a state that the two teens flee from the apartment.
S1, EP19 "The Ballet"
When Lucy learns that there is an opening in one of Ricky's acts for a ballet dancer, as well as a burlesque comedienne, Lucy decides to take a ballet class, which leads to disastrous results.
S1, EP18 "Breaking the Lease"
The two couples have a fun evening singing until the Mertzes go home and hear the Ricardos still singing in the apartment above. Arguments occur between the friends and, to break out of their lease, the Ricardos invite Ricky's band over to play.
