I Love Lucy
Lucy Ricardo is the wacky wife of Cuban bandleader Ricky Ricardo. Living in New York, Ricky tries to succeed in show business while Lucy -- always trying to help -- usually manages to get in some kind of trouble that drives Ricky crazy. Their best friends are Fred and Ethel Mertz, who are also their landlords. Usually, Ethel becomes Lucy's less-than-willing partner in crime. Ricky and Lucy welcomed little Ricky in 1953, whose birth was a national TV event. Later in the show's run, the Ricardos (and the Mertzes) moved to Hollywood, where Ricky tried to become a movie star.

Lucy gets a job in a TV commercial by telling the chosen actress that another girl's been hired; at the studio, Lucy rehearses tasting spoonfuls of the product, "Vitameatavegamin," but the contents of the product contain far too much alcohol.
S1, EP31 "Publicity Agent"
Lucy thinks Ricky could use some added publicity in the society columns, so she poses as visiting royalty. She disguises herself as the Maharincess of Franistan who has traveled halfway around the world to see her singing idol, Ricky Ricardo.
S1, EP32 "Lucy Gets Ricky on the Radio"
Ricky misleads Lucy into thinking he knows all the answers to a radio quiz show; she gets them booked onto the next broadcast. When Ricky reveals the truth, Lucy tries to sneak a peek at the questions in advance but things backfire on her scheme.
S1, EP33 "Lucy's Schedule"
After taking so long to get dressed that they miss a dinner with his new boss, Ricky puts Lucy on a strict schedule. On a follow-up dinner with Ricky's boss and his wife, the women give the men a taste of what it's like to be on a schedule.
S1, EP29 "The Freezer"
Lucy and Ethel decide to make some extra money by buying a used, walk-in freezer. When they unwittingly buy 700 pounds of beef, they try to sell it to customers at the butcher shop. Lucy later finds herself locked in the freezer.
S1, EP28 "Cuban Pals"
Lucy is jealous of one of Ricky's female Cuban friends, a woman named Renita. Lucy and Ethel dress as cleaning women to spy on Renita and Ricky at rehearsal. Lucy is appalled, and arranges for Fred to take Renita to the show by way of Philadelphia.
S1, EP27 "Kleptomaniac"
When Ricky sees Lucy sneaking silver items into their closet, he thinks she's a kleptomaniac. Fred and Ricky question her when they see her hide a cuckoo clock under her coat.
S1, EP26 "The Marriage License"
Lucy finds a mistake on her marriage license and goes to City Hall to fix it. Fred has a friend at the license bureau, so Ricky has them jokingly revoke the license. Lucy insists that she and Ricky recreate their wedding exactly as it happened.
