At least one story in each episode is true and based on real events. It's up to viewers to determine which of the logic-defying stories, that often include supernatural elements, are factual. At the end of each episode, viewers are told which stories were made up and which were real. Former Emmy-nominated actor Josh Brolin presented the first season, with actor Jonathan Frakes taking over those duties starting with the show's sophomore season.
