Arizona State plays Texas Tech for a second straight game on Friday night in Phoenix, AZ. The Sun Devils are wrapping up the regular season with three games in the Salute to Service Weekend. They opened up play on Thursday with a big 21-5 win over the Red Raiders. They were coming off a huge sweep of Stanford on the road and stayed hot in their first game in Phoenix. The beginning of the game didn’t look great as they gave up three runs in the top of the first, but it didn’t take long for things to turn around. They scored two in the bottom of the inning and then scored six in the bottom of the second to take the lead. They would add three in the third, five in the fourth and five more in the sixth to get the run-rule win.

It was a dominant performance for the Sun Devils and pushed their record to 30-24 on the season. The Sun Devils will finish their regular season on Saturday against UNLV, but first want to get a second win over Texas Tech.
The Red Raiders, though, are looking to bounce back from the blowout loss on Thursday and beat the Sun Devils.
The loss on Thursday was their sixth in a row and dropped their record to 30-23 on the season.
This will be the Red Raiders’ second game of the day as they will have played UNLV earlier on Friday.
