Ben Pollard holds a substantial lead, as the PGA Professional Championship tees off for the final round on Wednesday.
The PGA Professional Championship will finish off the third round that was suspended Tuesday due to darkness and attempt to complete the final round on Wednesday at the Fields Ranch East and West golf courses in Frisco, Texas. As of suspended play yesterday, Ben Pollard from Jackson, Wyoming, leads the group, holding the top spot on the leaderboard to himself. He sits at six-under-par after shooting a 71 in the last two rounds.
He is followed by Wyatt Worthington II from Reynoldsburg, Ohio, who held the lead for most of the first three rounds. He collapsed yesterday, shooting a 78 in total after shooting a 65 and 70 in the first two rounds. He dropped to three-under-par, which is tied with Jared Jones from Houston, who also had a poor round three, shooting a 74 after also shooting a 69 and 70 in the first two rounds.

Andy Svoboda holds the No. 4 spot on the leaderboard at one-under-par after shooting a one-over-par in the third round. He shot a 69 in the second round and a 73 in the first round. There are four golfers tied at par to round out the top five on the leaderboard. Those golfers include Josh Beveli, Derek Berg, Andrew Storm, and Braden Shattuck.
Round three will resumed today at 7:30 a.m. ET, starting with those where play was suspended yesterday and finishing up the round. After the third round is completed, all players will get back into position and tee off for the final round.
