The Seahawks need a win on Tuesday against the Rams if they want to get back in the playoff hunt.
The Seattle Seahawks (5-8) have struggled this year and while it’s not too late for the team to go on a run to get to 9-8 and possibly sneak into the postseason, things are looking bleak, especially with the Los Angeles Rams (9-8) up next on the docket.

Russell Wilson has missed two games and has seen his touchdown rate fall to 5.6%, his lowest since 2016, the last time Wilson missed the Pro Bowl. This Seahawks offense has struggled to move the ball as well as it has in past years, ranking 19th in scoring offense.
The defense has allowed the fourth-fewest points, but has also allowed the seventh-most yards. Even without scoring, opponents have gone on long drives, keeping the ball out of Wilson’s hands.
As for the Rams, the addition of Matthew Stafford has reinvigorated this team, which ranks fourth in the NFL in scoring offense. Stafford has thrown for 3,898 yards and 33 touchdowns this season.
After a three-game losing streak put the Rams in a precarious position, the team has won two in a row, including a Monday night win over the Cardinals last week.
The Rams will be without three starters due to COVID protocols, with right tackle Rob Havenstein, tight end Tyler Higbee and safety Jordan Fuller all out.
These teams last met in Week 5, with the Rams winning 26-17. Stafford threw for 365 yards, while Wilson was forced from the game after starting 11-for-16 for 152 yards and a touchdown.
