Yale looks to win a second straight game on Sunday when it hosts Brown in Ivy League action
Yale looks to sweep the two-game series from Ivy League foe Brown on Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs snapped a three-game losing streak on Friday when they took the opener 6-4 over the Bears. The win kept the Bulldogs undefeated in the Ivy League at 4-0. They opened up conference play last weekend with a three-game sweep of Harvard. They struggled during the week last they lost a doubleheader to Boston U on Tuesday and then lost again to UConn on Wednesday. Friday they got back on track as they erased a four-run deficit. They scored three runs in the bottom of the third and then one more in the fourth to tie it. They completed the comeback with two runs in the bottom of the sixth to get the win.

The Bears couldn’t hold on to the lead and it led to their third straight loss. They lost two of three to Merrimack last weekend and then fell in their league opener on Friday.
The Bears now sit at 5-10 overall this season and 0-1 in the Ivy League. It hasn’t been the best season for the Bears, but Sunday they will look to even their league record and pick up a huge road win.
