Atlantic Division leaders face off as Bruins continue season-longest road trip against the Panthers
Riding a two-game losing skid the Boston Bruins continue their six-game road trip tonight as they take on the Florida Panthers in a battle for the top spot in the Atlantic Division race. Both teams have 97 points on the season with Boston having played one more game but with two wins against the Panthers already under their belts the Bruins are poised to win their second consecutive game inside Amerant Bank Arena this season. The Panthers upset Boston in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs in 2023 on their way to the Eastern Conference Championship and an appearance in the Stanley Cup Final against Vegas.

Bruins winger David Pastrnak comes into tonight one point shy of his second consecutive 100-point season. Pastrnak, a first-round selection by the Bruins in the 2014 NHL Draft, has played his entire 10-year career in Boston and has posted 716 points in 664 career games.
The Panthers are led by center Sam Reinhart whose career-high 50 goals is tied for the second most in the NHL this season. In his three seasons with Florida, Reinhart has tallied 114 goals and 118 assists, and this season made his first-ever NHL All-Star appearance.
Florida leads the NHL with a 2.41 goals against average paced by its seventh-ranked penalty kill and by goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky’s .916 save percentage.
