Nebraska begins year number two with head coach Matt Rhule when they play in their annual Red-White Spring Game on Saturday
Matt Rhule leads Nebraska onto the field on Saturday afternoon for its annual Red-White Spring Game. The Cornhuskers enter year two under Rhule and they are looking to improve on their 5-7 record and make it back to a bowl game. It was an up-and-down first season as they lost their first two games, but then won five of their next six. Unfortunately, they would lose their last five games by a combined 16 points to miss out on going to a bowl. It was a tough ending to the season, but one they are looking to put behind them as they enter the 2024 season.

The Cornhuskers will open the season with four consecutive games at home, but two of them are against Colorado and Illinois.
They then play three of their next four on the road including a trip to Ohio State. They will also travel to USC and Iowa later in the season.
Home games are highlighted by new member UCLA coming to town along with Wisconsin in the second to last week.
It isn’t an easy schedule, but it also isn’t terrible as the Cornhuskers look to continue the move in the right direction.
