They are the no. 3 team in the NL West, 7.5 games behind the Los Angeles Dodgers. Last weekend, they won just one of three games as well against the Baltimore Orioles on the road.

    Cincinnati will start with Graham Ashcraft on the mound in the first game of this series. He is 3-2 this season with a 3.86 ERA and 32 strikeouts over 39.2 innings. He also pitched last against Cincinnati allowing two earned runs on seven hits with two strikeouts over 7.0 innings.
