How to Watch Roughnecks at Panthers: Stream United Football League Live, TV Channel

The Michigan Panthers close out a 3-game homestand when they host the winless Houston Roughnecks at Ford Field on Sunday

The Michigan Panthers (1-1) and Houston Roughnecks (0-2) come off Week 2 losses as they meet at Ford Field in Detroit on Sunday afternoon. Turnovers plagued Michigan each of the first two weeks as the Panthers own a minus-3 differential, with their opponents starting drives at their own 46-yard line on average. The Roughnecks offense is averaging 5.1 yards per play but struggling to maintain possession, converting just 6-of-21 third downs. Their offense ranks last in the United Football League at 230.5 yards per game. Conversely, Houston’s opponents turn third downs into first downs on half of their attempts so far (15-for-30).

Michigan quarterback E.J. Perry has been sacked a league-most eight times through two games and leads the UFL with three interceptions. He’s completed 56.1% of his attempts for 379 yards and one touchdown. The Panthers lost 20-13 last week to the visiting Birmingham Stallions, never leading and giving up 161 rushing yards.

The Roughnecks lost starting quarterback Jarrett Guarantano for at least a month with a rib injury sustained in last week’s 23-18 road loss to the D.C. Defenders. Reid Sinnett came off the bench to complete 19-of-30 for 221 yards and a touchdown. Sinnett’s 34-yard TD pass to Keke Chism put Houston up 18-12 early in the third quarter before D.C. came back to win.

Corn Elder returned an interception 98 yards for a touchdown for the Roughnecks last week and J.J. Molson kicked two field goals. Perry’s 76-yard TD toss to Marcus Simms represented Michigan’s only touchdown against Birmingham but Jake Bates continued his success with the long-distance kicks, hitting field goals from 62 and 52 yards.
