Arsenal comes into Sunday’s showdown on the back of a disappointing 2-2 draw at home to Bayern Munich in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final clash.
And it was almost that much worse after Arteta’s side found themselves trailing 2-1 before substitute Leandro Trossard came off the bench to equalize in the 76th minute.

That kind of distraction could benefit a Villa team that’s almost four years removed from its most recent victory at the Emirates Stadium.
Villa got the better of Arsenal when these teams last faced off in the reverse fixture back in December when John McGinn came up with the only goal of the game after just seven minutes.
However, Emery is still searching for his first career win at the Emirates at the third attempt, having failed to get over the line in two previous visits with Paris Saint-Germain and Villarreal.
That being said, the Spaniard is also undefeated when coming to the ground in the opposition dugout given his teams drew on both of those occasions.
