How to Watch Barcelona vs. Valencia: Stream La Liga Live, TV Channel

Another defeat in El Clasico has left Barcelona on the ropes ahead of a visit from Valencia

The race for second place in La Liga is now all that remains for Barcelona to fight for this season, and the Blaugrana will be out to save some face when its hosts Valencia on Monday evening. Xavi’s outfit are still smarting from the 3-2 El Clasico defeat suffered away to inevitable champion Real Madrid last time out, which left the club with no realistic chance of surpassing Los Blancos in the standings. Valencia, on the other hand, has recovered from a slow start to the campaign and is now battling for European qualification with only six games to play this term.

Against all the odds, Ruben Baraja has turned things around on the east coast and fashioned Los Che into an outfit that looks capable of finishing as high as sixth this season.

Those prospects did suffer significantly following a 2-1 loss at home to Real Betis last time out, which has afford Los Verdiblancos in sixth a little more breathing room for the end-of-season run-in.

Barcelona, meanwhile, enters Week 33 sat two points clear in the runner-up spot, having surrendered any realistic claim on the crown following defeat to Los Blancos last weekend.

For the second time in as many encounters this season, Jude Bellingham came up with the goods in the closing minutes to edge El Clasico, much to the disdain of Xavi and his players:

Los Ches have already damaged Barca’s goals this term after holding the Catalans to a 1-1 draw when they visited the Mestalla back in December.

And it just so happens Valencia is currently on something of a hot streak away from home, having won each of its two outings on the road.

Granted, Barcelona will pose much stiffer opposition than anything Granada or Osasuna could muster, though Paris Saint-Germain did batter Xavi & Co. 4-1 in their last fixture at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.
