The Royals look to snap a two-game losing streak on Monday when they take on the Blue Jays
The Kansas City Royals visit the Toronto Blue Jays on Monday night in the opener of a three-game series. The Royals are coming off two straight losses to the Detroit Tigers over the weekend. The Royals took the opener on Friday for a fourth straight win, but ended up losing the series and now come into Monday 17-12 on the season. Monday they will look to snap their losing streak when they send Jonathan Bowlan to the mound. Bowland will be making just his second start of the season, but he is going to be used in the opener role as he went just two innings in his first start.

The Blue Jays will turn to Yariel Rodriguez as they look to get a leg up in the series. Rodriguez is still searching for his first win as he comes into Monday 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA. He has yet to make it to the fifth inning this season, but the Bue Jays are 2-1 in his starts.
The Blue Jays come into Monday fresh off a big 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers, but that win snapped a five-game losing streak. They had won seven of nine before their losing streak and are hoping the win on Sunday can get them back on track.
