South Dakota State goes for its 22nd straight win on Saturday night when it takes on Utah
South Dakota State looks to stay hot on Saturday night when it takes on Utah in the first round of the Women’s NCAA Tournament. The Jackrabbits come into Saturday on a 21-game winning streak and haven’t lost since losing to Creighton back in December. That loss was their second in a row and had dropped their record to 6-5 after 11 games. They have been great since and then swept through their conference with a 16-0 record. They continued their dominance in the conference tournament as they beat Omaha, South Dakota and North Dakota State. It has been a great run for the Jackrabbits, but they want to now make some noise in the tournament and upset the Utes.

The Utes come into Saturday having lost two of their last three games. They fell to Washington in their last regular season game and then lost to UCLA in the Pac-12 Tournament.
They now sit at 22-10 on the season but are just 7-5 in their last 12 games. They have been struggling and are going to need to be better if they want to avoid an upset from the red-hot Jackrabbits.
Alissa Pili has been the top player for the Utes this season as she is leading the team in both scoring (20.8 ppg) and rebounding (6.5 rpg).
