The Las Vegas Aviators look for their third straight victory on Wednesday after getting a walk-off win against the El Paso Chihuahuas on Tuesday night.

The Las Vegas Aviators (19-21) opened their six-game series at Las Vegas Ballpark on Tuesday night with a walkoff victory over the El Paso Chihuahuas (17-23). On Wednesday night, the team squares off in the second game of the set with the Aviators, the Oakland Athletics’ Triple-A affiliate, looking for their third straight win. El Paso, the top farm club of the San Diego Padres, dropped its second game in a row on Tuesday and stands in eighthplace in the 10-team Pacific Coast League, nine games behind the first place Sugar Land Space Cowboys. Las Vegas sits in seventh place, seven games back of Sugar Land.

Logan Davidson came home on Jacob Wilson’s ground ball with one out in the bottom of the ninth to lift the Aviators to a 3-2 victory on Tuesday night. Daz Cameron homered in the third inning to tie the game at 1-1 before Aledmys Díaz knotted the game at 2-2 with an infield single in the fifth. Wilson, the No. 56-ranked prospect according to MLB Pipeline, was promoted from Double-A Midland on May 8 and is 9-for-24 with three RBIs since arriving.

Eguy Rosario drove in both runs for the Chihuahuas, including a solo homer to open the scoring in the third inning. Utilityman Graham Pauley, the sixth-ranked prospect for the Padres, tops the list of prospects on the roster. He’ slashes’s slashing .236/.403/.455 with four homers and 14 RBIs in 16 games and spent two weeks with San Diego, returning to Triple-A on May 4.

Las Vegas didn’t declare a starting pitcher for Wednesday night, while El Paso tabbed 31-year-old right-hander Daniel Camarena (0-3). In 19.1 innings over eight appearances, four of them starts, Camarena has a 9.78 ERA and 2.22 WHIP.
