The Texas Rangers look for the series win as they take on the rival Houston Astros on Monday night.
The Texas Rangers host the Houston Astros in the final game of a four-game set on Monday night. The Rangers took the first two games of the series by a combined 17-4 score, but lost on Sunday 3-1 in what would have been a series-clinching victory. The loss was just their second in the last six games and dropped their record to 6-3 for the season. The Rangers have won both of their first two series this season and are looking to make it 3-for-3 with a win on Monday. They will send Andrew Heaney to the mound looking to get that win. Heaney gave up three runs, one earned, in his first start. He took the loss, though, as the Rangers fell 5-2 to the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Astros will counter with Framber Valdez as they try and salvage a split in the series. Valdez has pitched well in his first two starts as he has given up just three total runs in 12.1 innings. In his last start, he went 7.2 without giving up a run but still got the no decision.
The Astros have struggled to start the season, as they lost their first tour game and come into Monday just 3-7 on the season.
Monday’s game is the fourth in a seven-game road trip that will also have them going to Kansas City to take on the Royals starting on Tuesday.
