Now in the third game both teams look to close out the series with a win and continue building momentum early in the season. On the mound for Baltimore is right-hander Dean Kremer (0-0) who pitched 5.1 innings in his first game with five strikeouts and three runs allowed.

Pittsburgh counters with left-handed veteran Marco Gonzales (0-0) who gave up just one run in his first game pitching 5.0 innings and controlling the game with just two strikeouts. This matchup on the mound has the potential to steal the show with how well these pitchers began the season in their first games.

In the first two series of the season for Pittsburgh it came away with series wins over the Miami Marlins in a sweep and the Washington Nationals (2-1) with the opportunity to really get off to a great start with three straight series wins today.
