How to Watch Twins at Royals: Stream MLB Live, TV Channel

The Minnesota Twins face the Kansas City Royals on Thursday in MLB Opening Day action. Watch it live and for free on Fubo.

Last year, the Minnesota Twins (87-75 record in 2023) won the American League Central division for the first time in a full season since 2019. As Minnesota begins its divisional title defense on Opening Day, the Twins take on an AL Central opponent in the Kansas City Royals (56-106). In their head-to-head matchups last year, the Twins went 9-4 against the Royals. That included last year’s Opening Day, which was also in Kansas City. The Twins won that game 2-0, and ended up sweeping the season-opening series at Kauffman Stadium as part of a 17-12 start to the season over the first month.

Just like last year, righty Pablo Lopez will be making the Opening Day start for the Twins. Lopez went 3-0 against the Royals last year in three starts, piling up 27 strikeouts in 20.1 innings with a 2.66 ERA.

The Royals made a couple of big pitching acquisitions this offseason in Seth Lugo and Michael Wacha, but it will be 26-year-old Cole Ragans getting the start for Kansas City in this one. Acquired at the trade deadline from the Rangers last year, Ragans made 12 starts for the Royals and went 5-2 with a 2.64 ERA.
