The PFL returns to Texas headlined by heavyweight contender Ante Delija as well as a trilogy clash between Liz Carmouche and Juliana Velasquez
In its first event in the United States this season the Professional Fighters League swings into San Antonio, Texas tonight as the heavyweights and women’s flyweight contenders begin their march toward the 2024 championship. Croatian heavyweight Ante Delija (24-5) looks for his sixth consecutive win including the 2022 PFL Heavyweight championship as he takes on Valentin Moldavsky (12-3) who makes his PFL debut after winning just one of his last four bouts in Bellator. Moldavsky had won six fights in a row capped off by claiming the interim Bellator Heavyweight title over Timothy Johnson in 2021 before losing his first defense of the belt against Ryan Bader.

Former Bellator women’s flyweight champion Liz Carmouche (20-7) makes her PFL debut as she faces Juliana Velasquez (12-2) for the third time since April of 2022. Carmouche won each of the first two bouts taking the title from Velasquez via a fourth-round TKO then defended her title submitting Velasquez with a second-round armbar.
Elsewhere on the card Denis Goltzov (32-8) returns off his first loss since 2021 as he faces Linton Vassell (24-8) who has not lost since 2018 winning each of his last five fights.
2023 PFL Europe flyweight champion, Dakota Ditcheva (10-0) puts her undefeated record on the line against Lisa Mauuldin (6-3) who recorded two PFL wins inside the distance in 2023.
