Miami’s first-round pick, Nikola Jovic, has gotten his first taste of NBA action over the past week. Through two contests, he’s averaged just 4.5 points while shooting 1-7 from beyond the arc.
The Heat have one of the best rosters in the NBA, meaning the prospects on this summer league squad need to play well for a chance on the full-time roster. This is a perfect setting for young players to showcase their skills.
Lester Quinones has been great for Golden State thus far, producing 13 points and five rebounds per contest. Additionally, Moses Moody has been one of the Warriors’ most highly anticipated prospects at this entire event.
Following a championship run, the Warriors have lost a few key pieces in free agency. As such, there could be minutes to be earned by some of the players on this summer league roster.
Both teams will head to Las Vegas for NBA Summer League after this matchup. All 30 teams will compete in this 10-day event.
