Heading into Week 8 of the NFL season, the gruesome week of bye weeks is behind us and we can get back to the potent offenses we are used to seeing. I attacked this optimal lineup differently than I have the past few weeks and you will see that as you read on. Here is my prediction of the top DFS lineup for this upcoming week of fantasy football.

QB: Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles – $8,200
In this optimal lineup, I decided to select, regardless of price, the quarterback I thought would have the most amount of points this week. This position can make or break the team as a whole for the week. Last Week, Jalen Hurts had 28 points against the Dolphins and he is averaging 22.89 points per game this season.
RB: Isaih Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs – $6,100
The Kansas City Chiefs have never used a running back as much as they have used Pacheco this season. He is averaging 14.74 points per game, incluing 13.40 and 16.00 against the two hardest defenses he has played. He has had anywhere from 15-25 points against easy defenses which the Broncos are.
RB: Breece Hall, New York Jets – $5,900
Breece Hall hasn’t been extremely dominant this season, this is more about the matchup he is facing as the New York Giants have given up massive yards to running backs. The last time that Hall had a matchup like this, he went for 177 yards and a touchdown totaling 28.40 points.

WR: Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens – $5,600
The Baltimore Ravens have had a streak of easy defensive opponents when it comes to passing defense. Against those last three easy defenses, Flowers has totaled 12.30, 17.10 and 11.50 points leading into this game against the Cardinals. He is quickly becoming Lamar Jackson’s trusted option.
WR: Kendrick Bourne, New England Patriots – $5,600
Opposite of Zay Flowers, Kendrick Bourne and the Patriots have had a string of rough opponents and defenses. Despite that, Bourne has proven Mac Joen’s best target totaling 19.30 and 16.30 points in his last two games. He will get an easy secondary in the Dolphins this week.
WR: Adam Thielen, Carolina Panthers – $6,600
You can talk about a favorite option or you can talk about an only option. Adam Thielen looks like Bryce Young’s only option out on the field. He has now surpassed 25 points in each of the two games leading into their bye week last week and should continue that this week for a cheap price.

TE: Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys – $3,600
As the Cowboys’ No. 1 TE, Ferguson was projected to be a big part of the offense and has fallen flat. He has only surpassed 10 points in two games and has had as low as 2-3 points in two games. Coming off of the bye week and dealing with an opponent soft on tight ends, this could be his breakout game.
FLEX: DeAndre Swift, Philadelphia Eagles – $6,300
DeAndre Swift has been a top-15 running back in five of the seven games the Eagles have played this season. He has surpassed 60 rushing yards in four of those games and found the endzone with his legs twice. On top of his receiving capabilities, Swift was the best option with the money I had remaining.
DEF: Cleveland Browns – $3,000
The Cleveland Browns defense was dynamic last week against the Colts. They had four sacks, three forced fumbles, three recoveries, and interceptions, and a touchdown while giving up 38 points and still scoring 20 fantasy points. They should be able to get to Seattle in the same way they got to Indianapolis.
