Villarreal travels to Las Palmas on Saturday seeking revenge for last yearā€™s 3-0 humbling at the Estadio de Gran Canaria.

Las Palmas is looking to end its recent run of five games without a win when it welcomes Villarreal to the Canary Islands on Saturday, having won two of the last three meetings between these two teams. Diego Martinezā€™s side whirred to a 3-0 triumph the last time they hosted this fixture in January 2024, but replicating that result one year on may prove tricky for the team currently sat 15th in La Liga. The Yellow Submarine, on the other hand, is chasing down a Champions League qualifying spot and comes into this clash sat fifth in the table, four points off the top four.

Villarreal started 2025 in slow fashion after losing at Real Sociedad, but Marcelinoā€™s men have since rallied to piece together a run of three games without a loss.

Five different scorers got on the sheet for Villarreal in a 5-1 hammering of Real Valladolid last time out, keeping Marcelinoā€™s men five points clear in fifth place:

Home form has been pretty impressive for Villarreal, but itā€™s a testament to the clubā€™s travelling strength that it has taken just one fewer point on the road so far this term.

Thatā€™s bad news for a Las Palmas outfit whose home tally of 13 points is one of the worst in la Liga, with only Real Valladolid (12) racking up fewer thus far.

Saturdayā€™s task gets more complicated for Los Amarillos considering midfielders Jaime Mata and Dario Essugo are both out due to suspension, while Jose Campana, Kirian Rodriguez, and Adnan Januzaj are injured.

There are hopes Gerard Moreno will be fit and available for Villarreal, but thereā€™s no such hope for Ilias Akhomach or Alfonso Pedraza, who are each long-term absentees.

Toronto would need nothing short of a minor miracle to make the post-season in its current shape, albeit having only just seen a recent spout of good form reach its end.

Darko Rajakovicā€™s side had won seven of eight games approaching the end of January, but the team now finds itself staring down the barrel of a third straight defeat.

Gilgeous-Alexander continues to enjoy another elite season on the individual level, typified by his recent 34-point in a decisive 125-96 win over Milwaukee.

Not to be content with that, however, he then went on to drop 50 in Wednesdayā€™s dominant win over the Phoenix Suns:

The guard is averaging 40.7 points per game across his past seven games, making him one of the most in-form offensive players in the NBA right now.

Whatā€™s even more incredible is the fact heā€™s averaged just 34 minutes per game across that spell, highlighting just how prolific the player is when he is at work.

Daniel Theis isnā€™t expected to debut for Oklahoma here after just joining from New Orleans, while Chet Holmgren and Cason Wallace look likely to sit out due to minor injuries.

Jakob Poetl and Brandon Ingram are poised to miss out for Toronto, meanwhile, and concussion looks likely to rule RJ Barrett out for the travelling side.

How to Watch Bucks at Hawks: Stream NBA Live, TV Channel

Kyle Kuzma is expected to make his Milwaukee Bucks debut when they take on the Atlanta Hawks on Friday.

The Milwaukee Bucks might not have made the biggest trade at the deadline but they did snag an impactful one with Kyle Kuzma coming over from the Washington Wizards effectively for Khris Middleton. The later became one of the best players in Milwaukee history and was a huge reason the Bucks won the NBA Finals in 2021. But the Bucks are moving on and get younger and less injury prone by adding Kuzma who was stuck in Washington who still have not one double digit games. Kuzma is expected to make his Bucks debut against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night. Milwaukee will be the -6.5-point favorite even on the road tonight.

Milwaukee is coming off a 112-102 win on the road against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday. It was a nice bounce back for the Bucks that ended a four-game losing streak. Damian Lillard led the game with 29 points and he added 12 assists. Bobby Portis played his first game since Jan. 23 and played impressively scoring 23 points and adding an amazing 17 rebounds. Giannis Antetokounmpo was scratched right before tip-off with left calf soreness. He is listed as a game-time decision in Atlanta tonight.

The Hawks have lost four of their last five games and are trying to bounce back from a tough one-point loss against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday. Victor Wembanyama hit the first free throw to go up one and break the tie with 2.4 seconds left but intentionally missed the second attempt. The missed shot forced Atlanta and eventually Trae Young to attempt a desperation three from behind half court that he eventually missed. Young did lead the game with 32 points. Atlanta played much better in the second half but it wasn’t enough to come back from a slow start in the first half. A quick start is imperative to defend home court for Atlanta tonight.

How to Watch Heat at Nets: Stream NBA Live, TV Channel

The Miami Heat look for the 3-0 season series sweep against the Brooklyn Nets in this finale on Friday night.

It’s been a wild NBA trade deadline once again and the Miami Heat were a huge reason for that. Well Jimmy Butler was a huge reason for that is a better way to phrase it. Butler demanded a trade once again from his team and Miami acquiesced sending him to team up with Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors in return for trade between five teams headed by Andrew Wiggins by to the Heat. Miami also received Kyle Anderson, P.J. Tucker, Davion Mitchell and a 2025 first-round pick. It is a huge loss for the Heat but Butler was checked out of Miami for a while and the Warriors don’t win the 2022 Finals without Wiggins.

Ironically, Wiggins will wear Butler’s No. 22 when he is expected to start for the Heat on Monday against the Boston Celtics and not against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night. Miami is coming off a 108-101 win on the road against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. Tyler Herro led the Heat with 30 and Bam Adebayo added 18 points with 13 rebounds. Nikola Jovic scored an impressive 23 points off the bench. This is still going to be a good Miami team even in the post-Butler era.

The Nets are trying to bounce back from a surprising 119-102 loss at home against the struggling Washington Wizards on Wednesday. It was just the ninth win of the season for the Wizards compared to 41 losses. Keon Johnson still had a good night for the Nets scoring a game-high 25 points. The loss ended a three-game winning streak for Brooklyn. Subsequently, Miami is favored by 6.5 points on the road tonight.
