Portland, meanwhile, just defeated the Houston Dash 2-0 last Friday behind a 56th-minute goal from Ana Dias and a 68th-minute strike from Olivia Moultrie. Sophia Smith leads the Thorns on the year with eight goals and six assists, as the USWNT player remains one of the best forwards in the world.
The last time these teams faced off was back in June 2023 when the Pride won 3-1 thanks to a brace from Adriana. Smith did score in that game in the 20th minute as she’ll look to repeat that tonight, though preferably for the Thorns with a different end result.
