The English giants collide at the Theater of Dreams on Sunday in a desperate fixture for both teams, with the Red Devils scrambling to qualify for Europe while the Gunners bid to keep their No. 1 status. United has put three past the north Londoners and emerged as victor in each of its last two tests hosting Mikel Arteta’s side, who can’t settle for anything but three points in its effort to keep Manchester City at bay.

Fortunately for Arteta and Co, they travel to Manchester with Erik ten Hag’s men on something of a slump in form and less than a week removed from a woefully one-sided defeat at Crystal Palace.
The Red Devils were caught unaware and saw their five-game undefeated streak come to an end in hellish fashion, with Michael Olise bagging twice in a 4-0 win for the Eagles at Selhurst Park:
Arsenal is on a four-win streak travelling to Old Trafford and most recently put Bournemouth to the sword in a 3-0 victory at the Emirates Stadium.
Arteta has won five of his eight contests against United as a manager, including three straight home wins when the two sides have clashed at the Emirates.
However, it’s a different story at Old Trafford, where the Spanish coach won on his debut at the venue only to come up short in each of the two tests since then.
Recovering full-back Jurrien Timber is the only fitness concern for Arsenal, while Ten Hag is still dealing with a slight crisis amid his raft of absences.
The Dutchman is hopeful Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Scott McTominay and Lisandro Martinez could be fit to face Arsenal, but the same can’t be said for Raphael Varane, Luke Shaw, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof or Tyrell Malacia.
