No. 9 Georgia (37-12) bounced back to beat No. 12 Florida (38-12) on Saturday, evening their three-game Southeastern Conference series at a game apiece. With the loss, third-place Florida fell three games behind first-place Tennessee in the SEC race with four games remaining. Georgia, at 11-9, sits fifth and has no path to the regular-season championship. The Gators’ streak of consecutive NCAA tournament appearances stands at 22, with 11 Women’s College World Series trips and national titles in 2014 and 2015 in that span. The Bulldogs qualified for their first NCAA tourney in 2002 and haven’t missed since, with 21 straight appearances. None of their five visits to the WCWS resulted in a championship.

Sunday’s UFL action kicks off at noon with the DC Defenders hosting the St. Louis Battlehawks.

On Sunday afternoon, Week 5 of the UFL season continues with the St. Louis Battlehawks (3-1) visiting the DC Defenders (2-2) at Audi Field. Both of these teams compete in the XFL division. Coming into the week, St. Louis was tied with the San Antonio Brahmas for first place in the division, with the Defenders just one game back. DC came up just short last week. The Defenders dropped a 20-18 game to the Birmingham Stallions in Birmingham. No. 2 Oklahoma retained its slim Big 12 Conference lead on Saturday, looks to wrap up a road sweep at UCF on Sunday

Three-time defending national champion Oklahoma (44-4) ran its winning streak to seven on Saturday as the No. 2-ranked Sooners escaped with a tight victory at UCF (28-20). Oklahoma, now 20-3 and leading the Big 12 Conference by a half-game, looks to close out the sweep in its final road series of the season on Sunday at the UCF Softball Complex in Orlando. UCF fell to 10-13 in the Big 12, good for sixth place in the 10-team league, as its losing streak reached five games. Since reaching its first NCAA tournament in 1994, Oklahoma’s streak of consecutive appearances stands at 29, with seven national championships in that span. The Knights have played in the last three tournaments.

Indiana (24-18-1) clinched its Big Ten series against visiting Rutgers (24-18) on Saturday and looks to complete the sweep on Sunday at Kaufman Field in Bloomington. The Hoosiers improved to 9-5 in conference play, good for fifth place two games behind conference-leading Illinois.
