Gibraltar (0-0-2) remained scoreless in the tournament after visiting North Macedonia and shut the North Macedonians out Sunday 2-0.

Bulgaria surrendered a goal in the fourth minute of play on Sunday before an own goal made it a 2-0 deficit at halftime. Atanas Iliev found the back of the net in the 50th minute to make it 2-1 before the Bulgarians surrendered three unanswered tallies. Iliyan Stefanov scored in the 83rd minute to set the final margin.

Gibraltar came off a 4-0 loss to Georgia at Tbisili with a 2-0 defeat at home to North Macedonia. The hosts were on their heels most of the tournament, possessing the ball only 32% of the time and getting just one clear chance in 25 attacks over the first two matches.

This is just the second meeting between Bulgaria and Gibraltar. The sides met in a friendly in Sofia, Bulgaria, in November 2020, with the hosts taking a 3-0 victory.
