Northern Ireland (0-1-1) picked up its first point of the UEFA Nations League Group C2 play on Sunday at Larnaca, Cyprus, while Kosovo (1-0-1) took its first loss, falling to Greece 1-0 at Pristina, Kosovo. Northern Ireland is the visitor on Thursday as it heads to Fadil Vokrri Stadium for the third match of the tournament.

Northern Ireland and Cyprus played to a scoreless draw as the visitors pressed the action but were unable to break through. Despite an advantage in possession, keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell had to stop two clear chances and got some help from the crossbar to keep a clean sheet.

Kosovo was on the defensive for much of its match against Greece but managed to get 11 attempts. Just two were on target and it conceded a goal in the 36th minute that decided the match.

Northern Ireland opened the tournament with a 1-0 loss to Greece while Kosovo beat Cyprus 2-0.

It is the first meeting betwwen Kosovo and Northern Ireland.
