A stacked UFC 300 card boasts a preliminary line-up that wouldn’t look out of place as a main card on any other evening as four top-tier bouts lead mixed martial arts fans into Saturday’s showcase. Before light heavyweight king Alex Pereira and strawweight queen Zhang Weili put their titles on the line at the T-Mobile Arena, the MMA masses will be treated to a warm-up of mythical proportions. That includes the comeback of light heavyweight title hopeful Aleksandr Rakic following a two-year injury lay-off, not to mention the UFC debut of two-time Olympic gold medal-winner and PFL contender Kayla Harrison.

And Rakic has been handed a hefty welcome back to the Octagon as he squares off against former light heavyweight champion Jiri Prochazka in a battle between Europea juggernauts.
Austria-born Rakic was well on the path to title stardom before tearing his ACL in a freak injury fighting Jan Blachowicz almost two years ago, having gone 6-1 in the UFC prior to that bout.
Czech challenger Prochazka is also coming off a loss as he looks to bounce back from last year’s defeat to incumbent Alex Pereira, who ended his 13-win streak in typically savage fashion.
Another ex-champion, Aljamain Sterling, will make his featherweight debut prior to that and is in for a stiff welcome of his own going up against Calvin Kattar.
The Boston Finisher is another coming off a long absence, having injured his knee en route to defeat against Briton Arnold Allen back in October 2022.
Prior to that, Kattar acted as something of a gatekeeper to the upper ranks in the featherweight division but will look to prove Sterling should have stuck at bantamweight as he makes his comeback.
UFC fans are also fired up to see judo terror Harrison make her Octagon debut having more than cut her teeth in the PFL, where she built a 16-1 record before finally joining MMA’s biggest promotion.
Her opponent, Holly Holm, continues to defy physics and is still a major bantamweight at 42, having gone undefeated in two outings last year—albeit one of those a no contest against Mayra Bueno Silva after originally losing via submission.
Before all that, however, featherweight prospect Diego Lopes will look to clinch three UFC wins in a row when he faces Sodiq Yusuff, who lost to Edson Barboz in his most recent clash back in October.
