The promising career of Kansas City Royals slugger Willie Mays Aikens quickly turns disastrous because of drug addiction. Sentenced to prison, Willie seeks redemption with his estranged family, friends and ultimately with himself.
Rebound
Roy McCormick (Martin Lawrence) is a college basketball coach more famous for his temper than for his coaching ability. After one of his rages gets him banned from the sport, Roy takes a job coaching basketball at a middle school in an attempt to repair his reputation. Amazingly, what Roy began as a show of rehabilitation begins to genuinely change him, and he learns to care for his team. His relationship with local mom Jeanie (Wendy Raquel Robinson) is a good influence as well.

Master thief Anthony Fait (DMX) pulls off a major jewel heist and somehow manages to escape from the SWAT team that's pursuing him.
