Cactus Flower
Distraught when her middle-aged lover breaks a date with her, 21-year-old Toni Simmons (Goldie Hawn) attempts suicide. Impressed by her action, her lover, dentist Julian Winston (Walter Matthau) reconsiders marrying Toni, but he worries about her insistence on honesty. Having fabricated a wife and three children, Julian readily accepts when his devoted nurse, Stephanie (Ingrid Bergman), who has secretly loved Julian for years, offers to act as his wife and demand a divorce.
It Should Happen to You
After two years of failing to make it big in New York City, small-town model and actress Gladys Glover (Judy Holliday) takes a gamble by investing in billboard advertising to get her name out there. Almost immediately her risk pays off, and she finds herself inundated with media requests and fans, including the affections of the wealthy Evan Adams III (Peter Lawford) of the Adams Soap company. While Glover enjoys the spotlight, her boyfriend (Jack Lemmon) is less pleased about it.
A Woman of Distinction
Reserved college dean Susan Middlecott (Rosalind Russell) is all business and can't be bothered with love. However, when Susan meets charming British astronomy professor Alec Stevenson (Ray Milland), it seems that romance could be in the air. Prisoners Harry (Frank Sinatra), Marcel (Gregoire Aslan) and Charlie (Bernie Hamilton) are flown to a small tropical island to serve the elderly Father Doonan (Spencer Tracy), who makes them work high in the mountains at a health clinic for local children. When a volcano erupts, the young patients are stranded, while the rest of the island's population flees. When Doonan offers to free the convicts if they help save the children, Harry leads his fellow convicts on a daring rescue mission.

Jenny Marsh (Patricia Knight) is a hard-luck dame who's just finished five years in the slammer for killing a man. Jenny's not exactly the murdering type -- she did the deed while defending her jailbird lover, Harry (John Baragrey), which is probably one reason she's attracted the attention of her parole officer, Griff Marat (Cornel Wilde). In fact, Griff is so taken with Jenny that he gets her a job caring for his ailing mother, but although Jenny tries to fly right, she's not yet over Harry.

Princess Salome (Rita Hayworth) is the daughter of King Herod (Charles Laughton) of Galilee. Cast out after her affair with Caesar's nephew, Salome finds herself back in the kingdom of her father when she falls in love with Claudius (Stewart Granger), the commander of her father's army. Meanwhile, Salome's evil mother, Queen Herodias, is continually being condemned by John the Baptist, and plotting to use Salome as a tool to get the prophet executed.
