Legends of the Fall
In early 20th-century Montana, Col. William Ludlow (Anthony Hopkins) lives in the wilderness with his sons, Tristan (Brad Pitt), Alfred (Aidan Quinn) and Samuel (Henry Thomas). Eventually, the unconventional but close-knit family encounters tragedy when Samuel is killed in World War I. Tristan and Alfred survive their tours of duty, but, soon after they return home, both men fall for Samuel's gorgeous fiancée, Susannah (Julia Ormond), and their intense rivalry begins to destroy the family.
Country Strong
While recuperating at a rehab facility, country-music superstar Kelly Canter (Gwyneth Paltrow) takes a romantic interest in Beau Hutton (Garrett Hedlund), a talented musician who works there. Kelly includes Beau in her plans as she prepares for a comeback tour orchestrated by her manager husband, James (Tim McGraw), who also has a protégé he is grooming for stardom. As the quartet goes on the road, personal demons and romantic entanglements threaten to derail them all.
Sunset
Having retired from a life of gunfights and peacekeeping, the great Wyatt Earp (James Garner) has landed a job as adviser to a Western movie about himself. On the set of the silent picture, he gets to know Tom Mix (Bruce Willis), an actor who specializes in Westerns, who has been hired to portray Earp. Not long after making each other's acquaintance, they find out that Earp's ex-girlfriend's son is missing, and the man responsible may be studio chief Alfie Alperin (Malcolm McDowell).
Brian's Song
Although they both play for the Chicago Bears, Brian Piccolo (Sean Maher) is white, a joker and mostly rides the bench while Gale Sayers (Mekhi Phifer) is black, serious and a rookie superstar. Neither likes the other much, but when coach Halas (Ben Gazzara) makes them the first interracial roommates in the NFL, the two gradually form a sincere friendship. Piccolo helps Sayers overcome an injury, and Sayers later gives Piccolo much needed support when he's diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Little Nikita
Roy Parmenter is an FBI agent with a long-standing vendetta against a Russian spy named Scuba. Now, Scuba is blackmailing the Soviet government by tracking down and assassinating their sleeper agents in the United States. Parmenter discovers that high-school student Jeff Grant is the son of two such agents, which is a total shock to Jeff. Parmenter must try to track Scuba while also protecting the Grants.
