Life Without Dick
After consulting a fortuneteller, painter Colleen (Sarah Jessica Parker) begins to suspect that her private-eye boyfriend, Dick (Johnny Knoxville), is cheating. When she comes home and finds him packing to leave her, Colleen accidentally kills him. Nervous Irish Mafia hit man Daniel (Harry Connick Jr.), who's been gunning for Dick, arrives shortly afterward and admits he has never successfully completed a job. Daniel proposes to take credit for the murder, and the odd couple fall in love.
Striking Distance
Sgt. Tom Hardy (Bruce Willis) denounces his partner, Jimmy Detillo (Robert Pastorelli), for brutally interrogating a suspect. After Jimmy falls to his death from a bridge, Tom is transferred from homicide to the river rescue team. Two years later, the bodies of murdered young women begin turning up in the water -- all of whom were previously romantically linked to Tom. With the help of his new partner, Jo Christman (Sarah Jessica Parker), Tom sets out to find the killer.
Suspect
Carl Anderson (Liam Neeson), a deaf, mute and homeless war veteran, is arrested for the murder of a prominent judge's secretary. But Kathleen Riley (Cher), Anderson's lawyer, believes her client is innocent. She sets out to track down the real killer, and, as the trial proceeds, makes an unlikely ally in Eddie Sanger (Dennis Quaid), a jury member. When they aren't in court, the two investigate the case and manage to uncover a massive conspiracy.

The Nines

Near Christmas, four former students of Sister Mary Ignatius (Diane Keaton) drop in at a holiday event at the school where the Roman Catholic nun has taught for many years. Now adults, the students (Brian Benben, Wallace Langham, Laura San Giacomo, Jennifer Tilly) have decided to tell Sister Mary that her rigid classroom lessons and demeanor left them emotionally wounded. Sister Mary tries to maintain her composure, but as the ex-students keep at it, the evening takes a stunning turn.
