Darrell Brooks lamented to the court that his sixth amendment rights have been violated among other things, as he represented himself in the deadly parade crash trial. He had a long commentary going on to the judge, without the jury there.

The judge addresses the claims Darrell Brooks makes after his rant; Brooks is accused of ramming his car into a Christmas parade killing six people and injuring 61 others.

An emotional Amber Guyger told the jury how she wished it was Botham Jean who had killed her that night, rather than the other way around.

Amber Guyger remembered panicking when she entered Botham Jean's apartment by mistake; instead of retreating she pulled her police-issued gun and fired two shots at him.

Amber Guyger faced an intense cross-examination; she testified to her many hours of police training she had before shooting and killing an unarmed Botham Jean in his own home.

The Defense raised issues with apartment keys not working and the front door not closing all the way; they claimed Amber Guyger parked on the wrong floor and entered the apartment right above hers.

The cyanide lecture was not over yet for the jury. On the stand, cyanide expert Don Whitworth broke down details about cyanide in its natural and chemical forms. The State claimed that whoever laced Rosemarie ESSA's calcium supplements with deadly amounts of potassium cyanide did it with a bit of sophistication. They claimed it was enough to carry out a murder plot that could've gone undetected by investigators.

The guy who protected Yazeed Essa while he was a wanted man testified. Jamal Khalife told jurors that after Yazeed fled the country following the death of his wife, Rosemarie, he provided a place for him to stay and fake aliases while he settled in Lebanon. While Yazeed was abroad for 18 months allegedly fleeing U.S. authorities, Yazeed confessed to Khalife that he poisoned his wife, Rosemarie, to death.
