In 1875, a band of brutal bandits craft a dastardly scheme. First they bust a convicted man out of jail, and then they force him to commit a string of robberies to increase the price on his head. Finally, they murder him and collect the bounty. Lawman Bob Gifford (Audie Murphy) is onto their vicious plan, and he goes undercover as a prisoner to lure in these savage villains.
