Old West outlaw Bill Doolin (Randolph Scott) marries a deacon's wife, but his gang will not leave him alone.

Badman's Territory

After Jesse and Frank James rob a bank in a northern Texas country, Sheriff Mark Rowley (Randolph Scott) and his deputy brother Johnny (James Warren) pursue them into the "Badlands" territory, an outlaw haven not associated with any government. The James brothers are also wanted by a devious federal marshal, who battles Mark for their custody. Soon Mark and Johnny are embroiled with the Dalton Gang and an effort by a female newspaper owner (Ann Richards) to make the territory part of Oklahoma.

7th Cavalry

Returning to Fort Lincoln, Capt. Benson learns of Custer's defeat at the Little Big Horn. At the inquiry as Custer's officers blame Custer for the defeat, Benson tries to defend him. However, Benson was suspiciously absent at the time of the battle and is now despised by the troops. So when an order to retrieve the bodies from the battlefield arrives, Benson volunteers for the dangerous mission of returning back into Indian territory.

The Bushwhackers

After four years of bloodshed, the Civil War finally ends. Discarding his weapons, Southern soldier Jefferson Waring (John Ireland) dedicates himself to the cause of pacifism. Waring relocates to a quiet frontier town in Missouri, where he hears news of profiteer Artemus Taylor (Lon Chaney) and a campaign of intimidation against local property holders. When several of his neighbors are killed by Taylor's gang, the newly nonviolent Waring struggles to determine the right thing to do.

Comanche Station

When solitary cowboy Jefferson Cody (Randolph Scott) hears tales of a white woman living as a captive of the Comanche tribe, he rides deep into the tribe's territory to exchange goods for her freedom. As Cody escorts the captive woman away, he learns that she is Nancy Lowe (Nancy Gates), and that there is a sizable reward offered by her husband for her return. Cody and Mrs. Lowe must brave ruthless bounty hunters greedy for the reward, as well as the now-warring Comanches, to make it to safety.

Tall Man Riding

A few years ago, Larry Madden (Randolph Scott) left his fiancée, Corinna (Dorothy Malone), after a run-in with her father, the wealthy land owner Tucker Ordway (Robert Barrat). After saving a man (William Ching) from a vicious attack, Larry learns hen is actually Corinna's new husband, and that some of the locals are preparing to challenge Tucker's land ownership. When Larry decides to ride back into town and make a claim himself, he encounters a few unexpected obstacles.

Return of the Bad Men

In 1889 in Oklahoma Territory, the land rush attracts thousands, including many outlaws. A gang led by Wild Bill Doolan includes the Sundance Kid (Robert Ryan) and the Younger brothers, who intend to take advantage of the confusion to rob banks. Doolan's daughter, Cheyenne (Anne Jeffreys), helps the gang in a heist, but is wounded and taken in by ex-ranger Vance Cordell (Randolph Scott). Vance sets about to change her allegiance, despite the misgivings of his fiancée (Jacqueline White).

Flaming Star

In this Western set on the Texas frontier, Pacer Burton (Elvis Presley) is the mixed-race son of a white rancher (John McIntire) and his second wife, Kiowa woman Neddy (Dolores del Río). When some local racists cause Neddy's death by preventing the doctor from coming to her aid, a war between the whites and the tribe erupts. As the war threatens to drive a wedge between Pacer and his white brother, Clint (Steve Forrest), he takes matters into his own hands.
