Stagecoach

John Ford's landmark Western revolves around an assorted group of colorful passengers aboard the Overland stagecoach bound for Lordsburg, New Mexico, in the 1880s. An alcoholic philosophizer (Thomas Mitchell), a lady of ill repute (Claire Trevor) and a timid liquor salesman (Donald Meek) are among the motley crew of travelers who must contend with an escaped outlaw, the Ringo Kid (John Wayne), and the ever-present threat of an Apache attack as they make their way across the Wild West.

Canadian Pacific

In the Rocky Mountains, surveyor Tom Andrews (Randolph Scott) tries desperately to find the best route for the Canadian Pacific Railway, with the help of demolitions expert Dynamite Dawson (J. Carrol Naish). A band of trappers opposing the new railroad tries to interfere by sabotaging the construction and inciting the local Native Americans to rebel against the project. Fortunately, Dr. Edith Cabot (Jane Wyatt) is on hand to bind the men's wounds and raise their spirits.

Fort Worth

Reformed gunman Ned Britt (Randolph Scott) travels to Fort Worth, Texas, to take over the abandoned newspaper. Crooked trail boss Gabe Clevenger (Ray Teal), a former antagonist of Ned's, challenges him on the trail. Ned refuses to fight -- which disappoints fellow passenger Flora Talbot (Phyllis Thaxter), who had taken a liking to him but now sees him as weak. In Fort Worth, Ned discovers Clevenger is battling the burgeoning railroad and decides to fight back using the power of the press.

Riding Shotgun

Larry Delong (Randolph Scott) loses his sister and her son when they're gunned down by the notorious Dan Marady (James Millican) and his band of outlaws during a holdup. Delong takes a job as a stagecoach guard, hoping to run into the bandits and take revenge. Run into them he does, but numbers are on Marady's side, and they shoot up and rob Delong's coach. Delong barely escapes with his life. When he tries to alert the authorities, they implicate him in the crime, and he becomes a fugitive.

The Over-the-Hill Gang

Looking to reform the corrupt government of his Old West town, newspaperman Jeff Rose is running for mayor against officeholder Nard Lundy (Edward Andrews). Jeff's campaign lacks the incumbent's muscle and money, and his quest looks hopeless until the arrival of his father-in-law, Capt. Oren Hayes (Pat O'Brien). The Last Challenge

Hotshot gunfighter Lot McGuire (Chad Everett) intends to make a name for himself by out-duelling legendary bandit-turned-lawman Marshal Dan Blaine (Glenn Ford). Before any bullets fly, however, Lot and his intended enemy strike up an unlikely friendship, and Blaine tries to convince the youngster to call off the shootout. Unfortunately, Lot can't be talked out of his quest for glory and so he guns down a few hostile locals, leaving Blaine no choice but to finally accept the offer for a showdown.

Former gunslinger George Temple (Glenn Ford) wants to keep his gun-fighting days a secret as he builds a new life. When the criminal Vinnie Harold (Broderick Crawford) catches wind of it, a showdown is imminent.

Heaven With a Gun

Jim Killian (Glenn Ford) arrives in a small Arizona town hoping to establish a peaceful life as the local preacher, but he soon finds himself in the middle of a feud between sheep ranchers and cattlemen. Leloopa (Barbara Hershey), a young Native American woman, pleads for Killian's help after her shepherd father is hung by Coke Beck (David Carradine), the vicious son of the head cattle rancher. Killian must weigh his actions carefully lest he perpetuate the cycle of retribution and revenge.
