The Savage

A wagon train moves across the plains, only to be attacked by lawless Native American raiders. They adopt the sole survivor, a young boy, and rename him Warbonnet. Years later, the adult Warbonnet (Charlton Heston) is in a tough spot when a war erupts between the Sioux and the settlers, prompting the adopted pioneer to question his allegiances.

In a Valley of Violence

A mysterious drifter (Ethan Hawke) and his dog journey toward Mexico through the barren desert of the Old West. Hoping to shorten their trip, they cut through a large valley, landing in the forgotten town of Denton -- a place now known as a valley of violence. The once-popular mining town is nearly abandoned and controlled by a group of misfits and nitwits, including the seemingly untouchable Gilly (James Ransone), the troublemaking son of the town's difficult marshal.

Just discharged from service, Capt. Devlin (Randolph Scott) and his cavalry pals Maitland (James Garner) and Clegg (Gordon Jones) travel to Devlin's brother's home, but arrive to see the place overrun by American Indians. Devlin's sibling is killed because of his shoddy ammo, so the captain and his friends decide to hunt down the man who sold the bum bullets. They ride into town and find that the culprit is Clark (James Craig), a rich businessman who has the law in his pocket.
